Privacy and cookies
1. Data controller
FUGU TEAM - byfugu.com - hola@byfugu.com.
2. Data we collect
Only what you send us: the details you enter in the contact form (name, email, company, budget range and message) and the emails you write to us, including talent applications sent to fugutalent@gmail.com. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not request or process sensitive data.
3. Analytics
If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to understand how the website is used: pages visited, approximate location, device and how you arrived. IP addresses are not stored. If you reject them, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. We may also count visits in aggregate with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
4. Purposes
To reply to your enquiries, to process talent applications, to keep the website secure and to understand, in aggregate, how the website is used.
5. Legal basis
Your consent when you write to us or accept analytics cookies, and our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure.
6. Retention
We keep your data only for as long as needed to handle your request, or until you ask us to delete it.
7. Processors and international transfers
Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, content delivery and analytics), Web3Forms (delivers contact-form messages to our inbox) and Google (email and, with your consent, Google Analytics). Where data leaves the European Economic Area, transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell or share your data for commercial purposes.
8. Your rights
You can access, rectify or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, request its portability and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to hola@byfugu.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, aepd.es).
9. Cookies
Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the banner: _ga and _ga_<ID> (Google Analytics 4, analytics, 2 years). Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage (fugu-consent, 12 months) and is not a cookie. You can change it at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer; rejecting deletes the analytics cookies. Videos are hosted on Vimeo and only load when you press play; from then on Vimeo’s own policy applies (we request its do-not-track mode). The Island Cycle page embeds an interactive experience hosted by FUGU, and The Onffice (theonffice.byfugu.com) is a separate site with its own settings.
