Pipo logotype over the wooden Pipo character on green

Pipo is just not ordinary.

Pipo Estudio is an artisan furniture workshop in Arucas, Gran Canaria, built around one simple belief: the unique should feel normal. Through custom furniture, restoration and handcrafted design, it creates pieces that value personality over standardisation, turning everyday materials into objects with lasting character. FUGU built the brand universe around its founder, Antonio Pérez: strategy, identity, a 3D character, the website and everything the brand touches.

Insight

Pipo didn’t need to look more professional: it needed to feel impossible to replace. In a category where most workshops communicate through finished pieces, tools and generic craftsmanship claims, Pipo had something stronger: a way of thinking. Antonio’s real value was not just making furniture, but seeing potential where others saw limits, discarded materials or impossible requests.

So instead of building another furniture brand, we built a character-driven universe around his instinct, humour and ability to turn the unusual into something desirable. The unique became the standard.

A character, not a logo

Our goal wasn’t to create a beautiful brand. It was to create one people would remember.

By turning the founder into a wooden 3D alter ego, we created a flexible identity system capable of living across digital, print and physical experiences without ever losing its character. Those who know Antonio see Pipo. Those who meet Pipo, understand Antonio.

Website

We didn’t design a portfolio. We designed a place people wanted to explore.

eltallerdepipo.com is a piece of 3D furniture you move through. Each shelf holds a part of the workshop: the pieces, the courses, the shop and a form where anyone can send Pipo an idea with a photo, a plan or even a scrappy drawing. Pipo himself walks the shelves and answers questions as an AI chatbot, from types of wood to making times and prices.

Every touchpoint

The challenge wasn’t to make Pipo look better. It was to make it impossible to confuse with anyone else.

A brand is only memorable when every touchpoint speaks the same language. The same green, the same wink and the same line - “the unique is normal” - run through posters, Instagram, stickers, tags, business cards and packing tape, with an editable kit so the workshop can keep making its own.

Client feedback

“Working with FUGU helped me understand that Pipo wasn’t just a workshop, it was a brand waiting to happen. They took something very personal, my way of working, my humour, my ideas, even the chaos of the process, and turned it into a clear identity with strategy, character and direction. They didn’t just make things look good. They understood what made Pipo different and gave it a voice, a face and a digital space where everything finally made sense. The result feels like me, but sharper, more memorable and ready to grow.”

Antonio Pérez - Founder, Pipo Estudio

We didn’t invent a personality: we revealed one. A business with a new identity. A brand with a future.
